A well-established multi-site food manufacturer is looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to take full ownership of site engineering performance across a 24/7 operation.

The Role
As part of the leadership team, cross functional collaboration is key. The Engineering Manager will be instrumental in championing the company ethos of encouragement, empowerment and development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility for the engineering department.
- Lead, develop & support the Maintenance Manager, alongside the wider engineering team.
- Devise clear training and development plans to encourage technical and career growth within the engineering team.
- Develop and improve the existing engineering systems to positively impact site performance.
- Drive reliability and efficiency, across the site to increase productivity.
- Build annual department budgets in order to ensure correct resources are available to fulfil engineering targets set.
About You
- Qualified in Engineering to degree level would be highly advantageous, although a minimum of level 3 in engineering will be considered alongside strong industry experience.
- Established Manager, leading an engineering department within food manufacturing.
- People focussed with well-rounded communication skills.
- Project control experience.
- Highly visible & approachable leadership style.
