Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for a Night Hygiene Team Leader to join a fast-paced production site within a well-established and growing business, supplying major UK retailers.

As Hygiene Team Leader your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the Night Hygiene Team to ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to required standards.
- Perform area checks at the start and end of each shift to ensure company standards are being met.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, COSHH and internal quality procedures.
- Ensure all paperwork have been completed and meet expected standards.
- Work with engineering to support maintenance and minimise disruption to hygiene schedules.
- Identify areas of improvement and work with the Hygiene Manager to implement.
- Ensure the team are using chemicals correctly & safely. Monitor stock levels, reporting to the manager to ensure timely re-stocking.
- Support the onboarding of new team members and drive team performance using positive coaching tools.
- Deputise for the Night Hygiene Manager in their absence.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience supervising hygiene teams (stand in / deputising experience will be considered).
- Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
- Relevant qualifications food safety qualifications are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
