Jelly Technical are looking for Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias for a manufacturing business in Coalville where you will be working in a fast paced, automated environment maintaining the production machinery.
You will have a strong background as a maintenance engineer working in manufacturing environments, you will be working across all equipment including PLC diagnostics.
Role and responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role
- Reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose faults using PLC and HMI interfaces.
- Repair electrical power and control systems.
- Undertake routine site facilities and utilities checks.
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring faults.
- Maintain accurate records using the site CMMS.
- Support commissioning of new production equipment.
Qualifications and experience required for this Maintenance Engineer role
- NVQ Level 3 minimum in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Experience with PLC fault finding.
- Previously worked within a manufacturing environment.
- Competence in reading electrical schematics.
- Experience applying Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
