Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-site food manufacturer for an experienced Specifications Technologist, with a focus on raw materials, to support the business during a key period of activity. This is a remote role, affording full flexibility and scope to support no matter your location.

As a Specifications Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage internal spreadsheets for product raw materials.
• Specifications and raw material approval - internal and retail.
• Ensure all relevant compliance's are met.
• Write and maintain brand and retail specifications.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience as a food technologist - with a focus on specifications & raw materials.
• Qualified within a Food Science subject - ideally to degree level, although experience in a similar role would supersede this.
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and raw materials management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise critical actions.
• Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
